Adventures with Angel

I am thinking that we should start a series to this blog called the Adventures with Angel.  Tonight would more specifically be, The Things Angel Gets Into.  I fed Angel her dinner at 4p.m. today.  She actually ate all of it before I sat down to eat my dinner at 5:30p.m.  I wash the dishes, clean up the dining room, and put everything away.  I head into my "office" to check social media and respond to some work emails.  As I am sitting here I suddenly hear Angel digging at something.  At first, I thought okay maybe she found her treat puzzle.  Then I realized that is on top of her kennel and I would have heard it fall first if that is indeed what she is playing with.

I walk to the sound and I find her in the corner with her dog food container.  It is a container that originally contained Nathan's workout protein powder but was cleaned out for Angel's food.  We keep it in the corner next to her dog food dish and water container.  She is scratching, digging at it and trying to chew through it.  This morning I refilled that container with "newer" dog food.  Nathan and I bought a 15.5lb bag of Science Diet Small and Toy Breed Age Defying for dogs 11+, about 1.5 weeks ago.  She has been on Science Diet Active Longevity Small Bites for dogs 7+ for a little while now because we honestly thought that was the only dog food for older dogs.  Hence we realized we were wrong.

I am not sure what is so different and mouthwatering to Angel about this newer dog food but I have now moved the dog food container off the floor and onto the sink counter.
